Boxline Ltd was initially established by Mr Bill Line in 1939 to pack munitions for the Second World War.
Once the war was over, Mr Line ensured the survival of the company by diversifying into the hosiery, knitwear and footwear industries that were prevalent in Leicestershire at that time.
The opening of the Modern Press business in 1945 enabled the supply of tights packs, swing tickets and other items complimentary to the corrugated outer range.
Since then there has been much change in the manufacturing industries that thrive in the UK. Cheap foreign imports and low wages in Asia have all but eliminated the industries that used to be the backbone of British success. But throughout these changes, Boxline has remained at the forefront of packaging supply by changing with the times whilst maintaining the family values from which it was created. We now supply a large number of food manufacturers, and have developed boxes for many well-known brands such as River Island, Schuh, Boots and Asda.
Now in its third generation of Line family owners, Boxline Ltd continues to combine top quality products with unrivalled customer service at a competitive price.
